Best Dressed at the SAG Awards 2017

Posted by

Amidst the grave political turmoil that the United States faced this weekend with President Trump's spontaneous travel ban, the glitterati stepped out to celebrate cinematic achievements in style on Sunday. So many great wins and dazzling looks were seen throughout the evening, but below are our favourite looks as well as our jewellery and accessory picks which deserve to be under the spotlight.

The gorgeous Brit Claire Foy from the series The Crown stunned in Valentino.

Emily Blunt in an intricately embroidered Roberto Cavalli gown. Accessorised with gorgeous violet drop earrings.

Nicole Kidman SAG Awards Gucci

Nicole Kidman in a sequined green Gucci gown with stunning tropical parrot embellishments.

Sophia Bush stood out in this fuchsia pink Marchesa strapless gown with the most delightful peekaboo embroidered detailing. Just lovely!

Kirsten Dunst in an all white bejewelled dress by none other than Dior. And look at that diamond collar necklace... wow!

Natalie Portman pregnant 2nd child sag awards red carpet

Another beauty in white Dior, Natalie Portman glows in this lovely minimalistic gown, showcasing her second baby pregnancy bump on the red carpet. And take a look at her diamond fan drop earrings. Simply elegant. She can do no wrong in our eyes. Love her!

Viola Davis has received much attention as of late with some memorable roles including the lead in How To Get Away With Murder by Grey's Anatomy writer Shonda Rhymes. Such a great actress! And that diamond collar necklace... jewellery envy!

Michelle Williams definitely catches our eye in this sequined Louis Vuitton gown. We just love her cropped haircut though. Makes me miss the days when I had a pixie cut myself.

We are absolutely loving Amy Adams' dark cluster diamonds jewellery... wow!

Check out these Chanel delicate jewelled flower hair accessories.

OK, so we're not a fan of the dark lipstick and general look that Maisie Williams from Game of Thrones is going for here, but that embellished clutch is to die for!

How sweet and delicious is this look? Reem Acra is a couture genius!

(We included this simply for its boldness. A brave move.)

Thandie Newton was by far the most unique on the red carpet with this Schiaparelli gown.
